
Social Media Content Creation for the LDS Church
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a global faith with millions of members worldwide, sought to strengthen its digital presence and foster deeper connections with its diverse congregation. As a faith-based organization with a rich history and global reach, the Church needed a cohesive social media strategy that could effectively communicate its core values and messages to people from various cultural backgrounds.
the challenge
Creating compelling content that resonated with a global audience while adhering to the Church’s doctrinal standards presented a unique set of challenges. We needed to develop a content strategy that was both culturally sensitive and theologically accurate, ensuring that the messages were clear and inspiring. Additionally, the content had to be adaptable to different platforms and languages, reaching members in countries with varying levels of internet access and digital literacy.

To address this challenge, we implemented a comprehensive content strategy that combined engaging visual design, inspiring messaging, and a deep understanding of the diverse cultures and traditions of Church members around the world.

Our efforts resulted in a significant increase in follower engagement and brand awareness across multiple social media platforms. By creating culturally sensitive and theologically accurate content, we were able to foster deeper connections with members and friends of the Church worldwide.

Led a diverse team: Managed a team of designers, writers, and animators from various backgrounds to ensure a cohesive and culturally sensitive approach.
Developed a comprehensive content calendar: Created a detailed content calendar that aligned with the Church's annual events, holidays, and messaging.
Adapted content for global audiences: Tailored content to specific regions, considering cultural nuances, languages, and local customs.
Produced various creative assets: Designed graphics, videos, and animations for both feed posts and Instagram Stories.
Collaborated with global teams: Worked closely with Church leaders and regional representatives to ensure alignment with the Church's messaging and goals.
Managed multiple projects simultaneously: Effectively juggled multiple projects with tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality.
Storyboarded and designed assets for promotional videos: Created visual concepts for promotional videos, guiding the animation team in bringing these concepts to life.
